We spotted Robert sitting on a bench enjoying a cigarette at the end of his day. His unique look and interesting face were two elements that drew us to him. Robert told us that his mother had died when he was six years old. At that time he began to work and had worked every day since then, his nails had become black with dirt. He also told us about his marriage to one woman and his love for her as well as his ideas about a happy marriage and how he managed it for many years. Before we left he told us that he doesn't like to plan anything in advance anymore and that he just takes each day as it comes. We thanked Robert and headed on our way in search of a clean hotel.
